On April 22, 2022, Ho Chi Minh City College of Economics (HCE) organized the Closing ceremony of the pilot course “60 hours of stock movement” for students majoring in Logistics.

Since 2019, the group of lecturers of HCE Business Administration Faculty has taken part in short courses delivered by Aus4Skills – known as Vietnam-Australia Human Resource. These courses motivate Vietnamese qualified and skilled human resources to contribute to substainable economic and social development. The group of lecturers participating in the project has received funding from the Australian Alumni Grants Fund to design and deliver two vocational skills standards for “Operate a warehouse”, that is “Receive and store goods”; “Pick and process orders” for 22 students majoring in Logistics. After 9 months of learning and practicing together, a group of lecturers and these students have successfully completed a "60 hours of stock movement" course.

At the Closing Ceremony, the students performed two operations on WMS software (Warehouse Management System) of importing goods into the warehouse and releasing goods from the warehouse in front of all guests, corporates, and instructors and received positive feedback from the participants.

On this occasion, 22 students received certificates of course completion which opens many new opportunities for them in the future. They now improve their knowledge and practical skills and are ready to work after graduation. This is also the goal and educational philosophy that the managers, and all officials of the Ho Chi Minh City College of Economics always aim for students.
